A night of music, community & joy at GAS Co‑Working Space
Our friends at GAS Co‑working Space hosted a brilliant open mic event in support of T.I.M.E — and what a night it turned out to be.
It was one of those evenings where everything just clicked — great people, great talent, great venue, great vibes. We honestly can’t wait to do it all again.
From the moment the doors opened, the room was buzzing. There was some heart and serious talent on the stage with performances from:
Ben Eve
Ned Jeavons
Trudy, Dave, Emma & Lloyd
Into the Mist
Ollie Phillips
Charlotte Boundy
John Hawker (our wonderful ambassador)
Zef Hudson
There was something for everyone, with an old school oasis sing-along, stunning opera, excellent guitar skills and beautiful harmonies.
There were a couple of unscheduled appearances: Rob Staines (the Leigh On Sea Whisperer) had everybody dancing to his rendition of Mack The Knife and our very own T.I.M.E boys joined John to accompany him for Stand By Me.
Every performance added something special to the atmosphere, and the crowd matched that energy with warmth, cheers and plenty of dancing.
We want to say a huge thank you to GAS Co‑working Space, Trudy, Leigh‑on‑Sea Brewery, and The Leigh‑on‑Sea Whisper, and every single person who donated, bought a raffle ticket or simply came along to support the night. You helped create something truly memorable and raised an incredible £1,472!
The funds raised will directly support our therapeutic music sessions for people living with dementia and learning disabilities. Your kindness helps us bring joy, connection and confidence to people who need it most. We’re incredibly grateful.
Thanks to every beautiful human who made this night happen ❤️
And if you’re a local musician, venue or community member who’d love to collaborate on future events, we’d be thrilled to chat. Contact Lucy and let’s make more nights like this happen.
