T.I.M.E. trip to Metropolis Studio

This week, our charity were invited along to Metropolis Studios.

Marc has had a lot of his music mixed and mastered there over the years, but never actually stepped foot in the building. So he was excited to get inside and check out some studio space and soak up the general vibe of this inspiring building and the people that occupy it.

Mike and Marc met Jennifer Surmeli who is Head of Knowledge, Exchange & Innovation at Metropolis Studio and Alice Heggie , Creative Outreach Producer from the Academy of Contemporary Music. We explored ideas of how we might work together, looking at research and development opportunities. We hope to form a partnership that will involve some of their degree students working with us.

There is so much potential to explore innovation, knowledge exchange… and how we can heighten accessibility and inclusion in music.

And you never know… some of those famous faces that pass through might want to help a little music charity out as well 😉
